1196 was established in 1937 and currently
represents over 1100 members employed by
Allegheny Ludlum Incorporated, a specialty steel
manufacturer.
As a
member of the International United Steelworkers,
District 10, Local 1196 strives to protect workers' rights
and benefits, as well as, maintain a safe working
environment for all of its represented employees.
